Theordore Clem Pownall, Madison, township farmer, who had been failing in health for the last two years, died at 10:45 P.M. Friday at the home of his son, Hallett Pownall, Odon rural route. He had been in the Vincennes hospital for several weeks and was returned to Odon only last Sunday. Complications caused his death. Mr. Pownall was born in Daviess county December 24, 1873, a son of George and Alwilda Ferguson Pownall. He married Miranda Ellen Pate July 10, 1900. Children are Herschel, at home; Hallett, Odon rural route; Georgia Maryfield, Odon and Geneva Cochran, Boonville. Teletha Osborne, of Odon, is a sister. Thee are also three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30 P.M. Sunday at the Poindexter funeral home in Odon with the Rev. Robert Hawkins, Washington, officiating, and burial in Walnut Hills Cemetery.
