Waneta Dinkens Potts

Petersburg - Waneta I. Potts, 71, died at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday at Petersburg
Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m.
Friday at the Harris Funeral Home, Petersburg. Burial will be in Bethel
Cemetery, Washington. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday
and from 8 a.m. unitl time of service Friday at the funeral home. Born
on April 1, 1931, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Richard
and Bessie (Condry) Dinkens. Her husband, William Eugene Potts, Sr.,
died on December 28, 1998. A son, William Eugene "Gene" Potts; two brothers,
Floyd and Ronnie Eugene Dinkens; and a half brother, Fred Young, are
also deceased. Survivors include: one son, Jack Potts of Newburgh; one
brother, Larry "Bud" Dinkens of Washington; three sisters, Donna Page
of Vincennes; and Betty Roland and Lorrine Baker, both of Washington;
three grandsons; three step-granddaughters; two great-granddaughters;
and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
