Walter J. Potts, 65, died this morning at his home in Otwell. He was born November 1, 1903 in Daviess County, the son of Benjamin and Ann (Krodel) Potts. Mr. Potts is survived by his widow, Alma McClellan Potts; two sons, William and Floyd Potts, both of Otwell; six daughters, Miss Myrtle Ann Potts and Mrs. Geraldine Blythe, both of Otwell; Mrs. Eldina Palmer, Washington; Mrs. Esther Knott and Mrs. Betty Jo Westhaver, both of Peoria, Illinois and Mrs. Maxine Grider, Wayne, Michigan; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body is at the Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg where arrangements are pending. FUNERAL NOTICE: Washington Times-Herald, Sat. 22 Mar 1969, p10, Walter J. Potts Funeral services for Walter J. Potts, who died Friday morning at his home in Otwell, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. (CST) at the Harris Funeral Home, Petersburg, with the Rev. John A. Hand officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Otwell. Friends may call at the funeral home.
