Man, Gored By Bull, Expires At Hospital
Resident of Harrison Township Passes Away At County Hospital
Morris Potts, a resident of Harrison Township, died at the Daviess County
Hospital at 6:30 o'clock this morning. Potts was gored by a bull about
a year ago and had not been in his usual health since last November.
Mr. Potts was 76 years old. He was born May 14, 1859 in this county,
the son of John C. and Elizabeth (Allen) Potts. Surviving him are four
brothers and one sister, Taylor F. Potts, Levi F. Potts and Mrs. Catherine
Ishum, of this city, Thomas J. Potts of Steele Township and George W.
Potts, of Knox county. Funeral services are to be held Monday afternoon
at 3 o'clock at Oak Grove church in Reeve Township in charge of the Rev.
J. W. McMurtry with burial taking place in the adjoining cemetery.
