The funeral of Edgar R. POTTS will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Otterbein United Methodist Church with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Ministers will be Rev. Max Nicoson and Rev. Loran Campbell. Friends may call at the Gill Chapel after 2 p.m. Wednesday and Masonic memorial services will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. The casket will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Mr. POTTS, 73, 1700 Bedford Rd., died Monday at his residence. He was a retired real estate and building contractor and had operated a grocery store here from 1938 to 1950. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and Charity Lodge 30 F & AM. A native of Pike County, he was born Oct 27, 1907 to Charles J. and Nancy Ann (CATT) POTTS and attended Washington schools. On June 30, 1928 he married Elva Truelove and she survives. Also surviving are one son, Terry L. POTTS, Danville, IL, three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Cecil OWENS and Mrs. Thomas (Olive) LOYD, both of Washington. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jacqueline Sue, and three brothers, Arthur, Charles and Frank..
