Harold Perkins

Harold Perkins, 75, 302 Hill Court, Washington, died at 11:16 p.m. Tuesday at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church with Bros. Byron Black and Ronald Barnes officiating. Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Gill Chapel and Kum Double Class services will be at 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at the church. He was born December 10, 1919 in Daviess County to Samuel and Opha Keith Perkins. He married Marian Robertson April 12, 1942 and she survives. He was a retired farmer. He was a 1938 graduate of Montgomery High School. He was a member of the First Christian Church, charter member and past president of the Montgomery Ruritan Club, first president of Barr-Reeve School Board when it was organized, past president of the Montgomery PTA, and member of the Kum Double Sunday School Class. Surviving are his wife and three daughters, Ann Juline Michal, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Richard (Lawana) Hand and Mrs. Lawrence (Janella) Nolan, both of Washington, nine grandchildren, and three half sisters, Isabelle Perkins, Sandra Lane and Shirley White, all of Washington. One sister and one brother, Phyllis and Keith Perkins have died.
