Perkins Funeral Set For Saturday
Gletus Perkins, 76, died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday in a hospital in Elkhart, Indiana, where he had made his ome for two years. He had been ill for several months and seriously ill for a few days.
Mr. Perkins was a retired farmer who formerly lived in the Hudsonville area. He was a member of Waco Church of Christ.
He was born September 24, 1894, a son of Reuben and Eliza (Barr) Perkins. In 1915, he married Eva May Graham, who died in 1966.
Surviving are two sons, Bellamy H. Perkins, Toledo, Ohio, and Reuben G. Perkins, Elkhart, and one brother, Elmer Perkins, Washington. There are four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One son died in infancy and two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the V. L. Poindexter Funeral Home with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
