Frank A. Peachee, 89, Washington, Route 2, Troy Road, Box 67, died at the Washington Nursing Center at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Gill Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Shelton and Bro. Ben Ray Bean officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Pleasant Hill Church Memorial Fund.
He was born February 10, 1901 at Adaza, Iowa to Clarence and Sarah Iby McCain Peachee. He married Katherine Allison September 17, 1931 and she survives.
He was a retired farmer and was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. He was a former SundaySchool Superintendent, Sunday School teacher, Church Trustee and a member of Daviess County Farm Bureau and Daviess County Soil and Conservation District. He won the Good Year Soil Conservation Award in 1947-48.
Surviving are his wife and one daughter and one son, Mrs. John (Wana) Hasler, Newberry, Don Peachee, Washington, Indiana; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister and three brothers, Mrs. Eula Browne, Evansville, Hugh and Dean Jones, both of Washington, Indiana and Paul Jones, Hudsonville.
Two sisters and five brothers have died.
