Martha Belle Ogle

Martha Belle Ogle, 95, of Washington, died at 8 a.m. Monday at her residence.
        Born Jan. 7, 1914, in Olney, Ill., she was the daughter of Lawrence and
        Gertrude (Smith) Reel. A 1931 graduate of Monroe City High School, she
        had worked at UniRoyal in Washington, was the first woman foreman at
        Reynolds Springs in Vincennes, which became Hoover Ball and Bearing and
        later Johnson Control. She was organist and pianist at Monroe City United
        Presbyterian Church for over 60 years. She attended Maysville United
        Methodist Church and currently worshipped and fellowshipped at Embassy
        of Christ, which met at the home she shared with her daughter Kay. She
        is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Trudy and Kenny Lay and Kay
        Ogle, all of Washington, and Fran and David Doyle of Rushville; grandchildren,
        Charlotte Glaspie, who was raised by her grandparents, the Ogles, Kathy
        Doyle and Erin Doyle; great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Jennifer Russell;
        and great-great-grandchildren, Gabriel Johnson and Gracie Webster. Her
        husband, Kenneth F. Ogle, died in 1981. The funeral will be at 11:30
        a.m. Friday at Gill Chapel, with Pastors Bob and Sherry Gregory officiating.
        Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to
        8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Preferred
        memorials are to Good Samaritan Hospice of the Embassy of Christ Missions.
