BONNIE M. NOLLEY
Mrs. Bonnie M. Nolley, 52, Montgomery, wife of county surveyor James
Nolley, died at 7:20 a.m. today at the Daviess County Hospital after
a two year illness. She had been seriously ill three months.
She formerly operated a beauty shop in Montgomery. Mrs. Nolley was a
member of St. Peter Catholic Church, the Altar Society and the Washington
chapter of National Hairdressers and Cosmetologist Association.
She was born in Vigo county Sept. 5, 1920, daughter of the late Samuel
T. and Beulah (Carroll) Herndon, and moved to Daviess county as a young
girl. She was a 1938 graduate of Washington high school and a graduate
of Central Beauty College, Indianapolis. She married Mr. Nolley June
24, 1939.
One son survives, James F. Nolley, Centerville, Ind., two daughters,
Mrs Ted (Cheryl) Morgan, Montgomery, and Raebecca Nolley, at home, and
three grandchildren. A brother, Robert Herndon, has died.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Church with burial
in St. Peters cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at the
Ed Lee Mortuary. Members of St. Peter's parish and friends will pray
the Rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday.
