DEATH TAKES PAT KELLEY
Patrick A. Kelly, Maysville road passed away of a heart ailment last
night at 10:45 o'clock after an illness of four weeks. He was 72 years
old.
Mr. Kelly was a well known retired businessman and a lifelong resident
of Washington. He was born here on August 15, 1875, the son of Patrick
and Elizabeth (Dwyer) Kelly. a member of St. Simon's church he attended
the Catholic schools and joined the Moose and Eagles lodges.
On March 3, 1905 he married Josephine Newhall, who survivies with an
adopted daughter. Mrs. Patricia Roberson, of Whetland, Ind. A brother,
William Kelly , of St. Louis, survives. Two brothers, Louis and James
Kelly and a sister, Annie, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday moring at 9 o'clock at St.
Simon's Catholic church with Interment following in St. John's cemetery.
Friends may call at the Keller mortuary after 7 o'clock tonight to pay
their respects.
