Deaths in This Area, Clyde E. Jackman Clyde E. Jackman, 68, R.R. 1, Loogootee, was found dead this morning about 6:45 o'clock at his residence just south of Alfordsville. The body was discovered by pastor Rev. Elmer E. Marrone, of the Assembly of God church. Daviess county coroner, Dr. L. M. McNaughton said death was due to natural causes. Mr. Jackman was born in Daviess County, December 7, 1892, the son of the late David and Emma Allen Jackman. He married Jessie Brown on March 29, 1916 and she survives. The deceased was a carpenter by trade and at one time held the office of Reeve township trustee. He also taught school in Reeve township. Surviving besides the widow is one daughter, Mrs. Victor (Mildred) Preusz of Hammond, Indiana and one grandson. One son preceded him in death. Other survivors are five sisters and one brother. They are Mrs. Harry Myers, Seymour; Mrs. William Osborn, Logansport; Mrs. Ardith Harris, Pendleton; Mrs. Frank Swickard, Cannelburg; Mrs. Andrew Kruse, Partridge, Illinois and Bernard Jackman of this city. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home in Loogootee with burial in Old Union Cemetery near Alfordsville. Rev. E. E. Marrone will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
