Prominent Farmer Dead George Houston of Harrison Township Passes Away
A Pioneer Of The County
Had Lived In Harrison Township Most of His Life - Had Stomach Trouble
George Houston, a pioneer of Harrison township, died at his home south-east
of Glendale Wednesday afternoon of stomach trouble. His condition had
been serious for some time and death was expected.
He was 78 years of age and spent all of his life in Harrison and Reeve
townhsips. He was twice married and is survived by a wife and three children.
Mrs. Emma Jackson, of this city, is a daughter.
He was a member of the local Masonic lodge and the order attended the
funeral services this afternoon at the residence. Burial was at Ebenezer
cemetery.
