GREENFIELD, IN., Imogene Hazel Horrall, 83, formerly of Washington, died at 10:50 p.m. Friday at Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield. Born Nov. 1, 1922, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of James S. and Rosa B. (Doyle) Arvin. She attended Alfordsville schools and was a member of Alfordsville Christian Church. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley Ann and Jerry Powell of Morristown, Brenda Vermillion of Nineveh, and Diana and Lawrence Higgerson of Troy, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. One sister, Mary Cox; three brothers, Otis, Cletus and Herschel Arvin; and one son-in-law, Franklin Vermillion, are deceased. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gill Chapel, with Bros. Alfred Helm and Marvin Arvin officiating. Burial will be Alfordsville Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Washington Humane Society, Cancer Fund or Heart Fund. (Nov. 25, 2005)
