Paul William Holland

ODON — Paul William Holland, 88, died Wednesday morning. He had been
in failing health for several years. Born Aug. 7, 1921, in Daviess County,
he was the son of George and Grace (Crane) Holland. He had worked at
the Odon Clothing Co. for 28 years and enjoyed bird watching. He was
a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bramble. He is survived
by his wife, Mary M. (Overton) Holland, whom he married Aug. 23, 1949;
daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bob Smith of Odon; sons and daughters-in-law,
Patrick Holland of Odon, Bill and Jodi Holland of Bloomington, and Kenneth
and Peggy Holland of Washington; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
and sisters, Mary Lou Sims of Odon, Wanda Colvin of Washington, and Dorothy
Milligan of Loogootee. He is preceded in death by two brothers, James
and Thomas Holland, and a sister, Rosalie Raney. The funeral Mass will
be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church in Bramble, with Rev.
Joseph Erbacher officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, with a rosary service at
7 p.m., at Poindexter-Hall and McClure Funeral Home.
