Mrs. Elizabeth Hedrick, a prominent citizen of Alfordsville, died at (unreadable) morning after a brief illness. Last Friday she was stricken for the third time with paralysis and her condition was critical until death. She had been in feeble health for nearly a year. She was the wife of Louis Hedrick, a retired farmer, (unreadable) Alfordsville. The body of Mrs. Hedrick was be laid to rest on her sixty-eight birthday anniversary, December 8. The funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning and burial will take place in Old Union cemetery. Mrs. Hedrick was born and reared in Reeve township. Her maiden name was White. She was a kind woman and has many close acquaintances. She is survived by the husband and four children: Louis Hedrick, Alfordsville; Benjamin, North Dakota; Mrs. Harrison Cole, Alfordsville, and Mrs. Frank Van Winkle, Alfordsville. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
