MRS. ADELINE HEDRICK ANSWERS DEATH'S CALL
Mrs. Adeline HEDRICK, age 78, a resident of Montgomery, died at the Daviess
County Hospital at 6 a.m. Monday, January 9, after a lingering illness
that began in August 1955. Mrs. HEDRICK was born in Brookville, IN,
on Nov 2, 1877, the daughter of James and Amanda (BAKER) GOBLE. On
Nov 22, 1901 she married Benjamin HEDRICK, and he survives. She was
a member of the Christian Church at Alfordsville. In addition to the
husband, Mrs. HEDRICK is survived by the following children: Mrs. Nora
LAWSON, Winchester, IN; Mrs. Vestal RIPPLE and Ralph HEDRICK, both
of Indianapolis; Mark HEDRICK, of Washington, DC; Mrs. Dora WILLIAMS,
Monroe City; Mrs. Corletta SNIDER, and Mrs. Cora FIELDS, both of Montgomery;
and Harold HEDRICK, of RR 4, Loogootee. There are 12 grandchildren,
and nine great-grandchildren, and a brother, Nicholas GOBLE, of Vincennes.
One child is dead. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Bethany
Christian Church, with Brother Robert SECREST, pastor of the Alfordsville
Christian Church, conducting the rites. Burial was in the Bethany Cemetery,
with the Miller Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
