Mary Gootee Gibson

Mrs. Chester Gibson, the former Mary Gootee, 69, Lawrenceville, Illinois, died today at 12:15 a.m. at the Lawrenceville Hospital. She was the daughter of Moses and Emma Gootee. Her husband is deceased. Surviving are her children: Father William Gibson, chaplain in the U.S. Navy; Margaret Rusch and Ernest L. Gibson, both of Vincennes, Joseph Gibson, Greenwood, Indiana and James Gibson, Lawrenceville, Illinois and brothers and sister, Nicholas Gootee and Mrs. Earl Walker, both of Montgomery, Oscar Gootee, Indianapolis, Joe Gootee, Norfold, Virginia and Woodrow Gootoo, North Vernon. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the Emmons Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, Illinois. The funeral mass will be at St. Lawrence Church, Lawrenceville, Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Montgomery.
