Suicide Verdict In Mrs. Gibbs Death
DRINKS POULTRY LICE LIQUID POISON; DIES ENROUTE TO HOSPITAL
Mrs. dulcie may Gibbs, age 44, wife of Ben Gibbs, Washington route four,
died enroute to the Daviess County hospital this morning from poisoning
resulting from drinking a poultry lice liquid poison Coroner Walter S.
Williams termed the death a suicide.
Following discovery of the suicide attempt, the coroner said Mrs. Gibbs
was taken by ambulance at once to the hospital but was pronounced dead
on arrival there.
A native of Martin county, Mrs. Gibbs was born November 21, 1899, the
daughter of George and Laura (Tinkle) Allegree, both of whom survive,
living near Shoals. She was married to Mr. Gibbs about 24 years ago.
Mrs. Gibbs was a member of the United Brethren church.
She leaves the following brothers and siters, Eric, Roy, Glenn and Louise
Allegree of Washington and Mrs. Olive Fagg, of Sullivan.
