LOOGOOTEE - Milfred Freyberger, 64, of Route 1, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Daviess County Hospital, Washington. A native of Daviess County, he was born September 11, 1917, son of John and Matilda Hoffman Freyberger. He was a retired farmer. His wife, Virginia, is a sister of a Wheatland resident, Donald Wallace. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Carolyn Westmeyer of Columbus; a sister, Lorena Peachee of Glendale; brothers, Glenn, Clarence and John Freyberger, all of Loogootee. The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Alfordsville Christian Church. Burial will be in the Alfordsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Gill Funeral Home in Washington.
