Freda E. Fleenor

WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Freda E. Fleenor, 84, died Oct. 9 at her home in
Walla Walla, Wash. Arrangements were made through Horring Funeral Home
in Walla Walla. Her remains will be interned at Sugarland Memorial Gardens
in Daviess County, next to her husband, at a later date. Memorial contributions
can be made to the Pioneer United Methodist Church of which she attended
regularly. She was born Sept. 14, 1925, in Daviess County, to Maude (Gilley)
and Charles William Drew. She was graduated in 1943 from Washington High
School. She and her husband lived in Washington, Ind., until they moved
to California in 1968. There they lived in Los Gatos until her husband
retired in 1983. Then they moved to Manteca, Calif., where they lived
when not traveling in their motorhome. They attended St. Paul United
Methodist Church. Her husband died in 2003, and her sons moved her to
live in the Washington Old Fellows Home in Walla Walla. She was a frequent
volunteer in various areas of the home and loved to play bingo and dominoes.
She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Henrietta and Robert
Carroll of Washington; two sons and daughters-in-law, L. Ray and Angie
Fleenor of College Place, Wash.; William E. and Judy Fleenor of Davis,
Calif.; a grandson, David D. Fleenor, a granddaughter, Tania R. and her
husband, Dan Feekes, of College Place, Wash. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Lester R. Fleenor; one brother, James Drew, three sisters,
Lillian Baumert, Bernice Sturgeon and Imogene Arthur.
