Nancy O. Fitzgerald

Mrs. Nancy Ola Fitzgerald, 84, 104 E. National Hwy, died at 7:40 a.m. Sunday at the Daviess County Hospital after a seven week illness. She had been failing health for two years.
She was born in Daviess county Oct. 6, 1892, daughter of William Harrison and Lucinda Ellen (Risley) Boyd. On Feb. 22 1912 she married Lewis Emery Fitzgerald who died in 1954.
Mrs. Fitzgerald was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Fitzgerald, Nevada, Mo., and Norman Fitzgerald, Washington; four daughters, Mrs. Royce (Lillian) Gray and mrs. Louis (Imogene) Mandabach, Washington, Mrs. Clarence (Barbara) Carey, Lakeland, Fla., and Mrs Harvey (Evelyn) Carey, Crystal Springs, Fla.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Anna Purcell, Washington R. 4, 20 grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren. she was preceded in death by a son, Hamlet, a grandson, Robert Fitzgerald, three sisters and two brothers.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. William Malott at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Gill Chapel. Burial will be in Aikman Creek cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
