Charles Albert Faith

Chas. Faith Dies Tuesday
Charles Albert Faith, 80, Washington Rt. 4, died at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday
at the Daviess County Hospital. He had been in failing health for six
months and was seriously ill 10 days.
A retired farmer, Mr. Faith was born April 5, 1889 at Marco Indiana,
a son of Levi and Margaret (LeMar) Faith. He was married to Anna Martha
Gardner on August 15, 1906 and she preceded him in death August 11, 1967.
Mr. Faith was educated in schools near Marco and was a member of the
Veale Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Malcolm
(Onie) Ritterskamp, Mrs. Harlan (Hazel) Chestnut and Mrs. Bernard M.
(Bonnie) Crow, all of Washington; five sons, Albert Faith, Washington
Rt. 4; Elmer Faith, Phoenix, Arizona; Robert Faith, Glendale, Arizona
and Charles Faith Sr., and Alvin Faith, both of Washington.
He also leaves 30 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one brother,
Orval Faith, Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Dove, Lakeville, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Mrs. Florence Patton, who
died August 4, 1965 and Pearl Faith, who died in infancy. One brother,
Edgar Faith and one half-brother, Frank Warren, are also deceased. Funeral
services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Gill Funeral Home, with the
Rev. Orville Hendrixson officiating and burial in Plainville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
