Anna M. Faith Dies Early Today
Mrs. Anna Martha Faith, 77, Route 4, died at her residence at 1:20 a.m.
today. She had been ill for several months and seriously ill for three
weeks.
Born March 27, 1890 in Plainville, she was the daughter of Isaac and
Nancy (Nolley) Gardner. She married Charles A. Faith August 15, 1908
and he survives.
Mrs. Faith was educated in Plainville schools and was a member of the
Veale Creek Baptist Church. Surviving besides her husband are five sons,
Albert Faith, Harrison township; Elmer Faith, Phoenix, Arizona; Robert
Faith, Glendale, Arizona; Charles Faith Jr., and Alvin Faith, both of
Washington; three daughters, Mrs. Malcolm (Onie) Ritterskamp, Mrs. Harlan
(Hazel) Chestnut and Mrs. Bernard M. (Bonnie) Crow, all of Washington.
Two daughters, Mrs. Florence May Patton and Pearl Faith preceded her
in death. She also leaves 24 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and
two sisters, Mrs. William (Rachel) Hunter, Washington and Mrs. Rosa Roach,
Odon. One brother and one sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Gill Funeral Home
with Rev. R. P. Hawkins officiating and burial in the Plainville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funderal home after 7 p.m. tonight.
