Brenda Sue Kettery Davis

        Brenda Sue Davis, 46, of Rt. 2 Loogootee, died at 5:40PM at the Daviess
          County Hospital. The funeral will be at 10:30AM Friday at the Loogootee
          United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Dennis
          Payton officiating. Burial will be in Goodwill Cemetery. Friends may
          call at the Gill Funeral Home, Washington, from 4PM to 9PM Thursday.
          The casket will be taken to the church at 9AM Friday. She was born
          Oct. 2, 1942, in Daviess County to John Alvis and Myrtle (Myers) Kettery.
          Her mother survives in Washington. She married Richard Davis on July
          16, 1966, and he survives. She was the former secretary for Seaboard
          Finance for 13 years, and then worked at Home Outfitters as a bookkeeper
          for one year in Loogootee, and later at the television center in Jasper.
          She was graduated from Washington High School in 1960. She was a youth
          counselor at church, and a member of the Park and Spark Car Club. She
          was a Sunday school teacher, and served on the Visitation Committee
          at her church. She was active as a 4-H leader, was a former rural youth
          member, and served in the PTA at school. Also surviving are two sons
          and a daughter, Dane Richard Davis, Dustin Richard Davis, and Dena
          Rachele Davis, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Bill (Norma) Hughes,
          Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs Don (Alice) Taylor, Vincennes, and Mrs. Nancy
          Reyes, Schererville. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Delaine
          Renee Davis, one brother, Maurice Wayne Kettery, and her father, John
          Alvis Kettery.
