Mrs. Phoebe Dant Dies Sunday Night
Popular Montgomery Woman Dies of Tuberculosis Following Influenza
Mrs. Phoebe Dant, wife of Leo Dant, and one of Montgomery's best liked and most popular young married women died at 8:15 o'clock Sunday night of tuberculosis, which followed an attack of influenza several months ago. Previous to being sticken with influenza, Mrs. Dant weighed 178 pounds and was in the best of health.

...marriage was Phoebe Clark, daughter of William H. Clark, now of Kansas City. She was grand daughter of Lloyd Clark. Mrs. Dant's husband operates a transfer company at Montgomery.
She was born August 10, 1892. The four children born to her and Mr. Dant are still living. They are Dicy, Garnette, Robert and Russell. Two brothers, Harry, of Black Oak and Willie, of Kansas, and one sister of Indianapolis also survive her. She was a loyal member of Bethany Christian church and the funeral services will be held there Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock burial following in the adjoining cemetery.
