Seth B. Cunningham

Seth B. Cunningham, one of this community’s well known citizens and
        farmers passed away at his home east of here in Martin county last Sunday,
        his death being caused by an abscess on the brain. He had been ill only
        about two weeks but the nature of the disease that preyed upon him was
        serious and very painful and his death was not unexpected.
        Mr. Cunningham was a native of Daviess county and was thirty-nine years
        of age at the time of his death. He had lived near Odon until a few weeks
        ago when he moved to the farm in Martin county. He was a son of Arch
        Cunningham one of the communities well known farmers. On Oct. 27th, 1901
        he was united in marriage to Lydia Nolley and to this union was born
        three children whom with their mother survive. These are Marie, Howard
        and Mildred. He also leaves one brother, Eli of this township and two
        sisters, Mrs. Roscoe Hubbard of Rockville, Ind., and Mrs. Elsa Jollie
        of Rantool, Ill.
        His father and mother are both living and reside on their farm southwest
        of this city.
        The funeral services were held at Good Hope church Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
        with Rev. C. H. Buchanan in charge and burial was made at Walnut Hill.
        Mr. Cunningham was a member of the Christian church of Odon.
