Evelyn Armetta Cummings

Evelyn Armetta Cummings, 88, of Washington, died at 8:45 a.m. Friday
        at her residence. Born Sept. 16, 1921, in Decker Chapel, she was the
        daughter of Frank and Ada (Dixon) Dunn Perdue. She attended Decker Chapel
        schools and was a homemaker. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Reel
        of Washington; a son, Russ Reel Jr. of Washington; a sister, Phyllis
        Brock of Washington; a son-in-law, Wayne Mize of Washington; several
        grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many
        nieces and nephews. Her husband, George Cummings, is deceased. One daughter,
        Barbara Mize; parents, Frank Dunn and Ada Dixon Dunn Perdue; sisters,
        Gladys Huff and Bertha Harris; and brothers, William Dunn, Freddie and
        Bert Perdue, are also deceased. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday
        at Gill Chapel, with Rev. Danny Gilley officiating. Burial will be in
        Sugarland Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday
        and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be made
