Mrs. Hazel Margaret Collins, 78, 401 S.E. 11th St, Washington, died at the Daviess County Hospital at 9:40 a.m. Thursday. The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Gill Chapel with Bro. Ben Ray Bean officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Reeve Township. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. She was born June 29, 1917 in Daviess County to Lawrence and Mary Josephine Cullivan Gillick. She married Carl Vernon Collins Dec 24, 1938 and he died Feb 4, 1993. She and Mr. Collins owned and operated a gas station and antique shop in Montgomery for 20 years. She attended Cannelburg Schools. Surviving are one son, Larry Lee Collins, Washington, one sister, Mrs. Wilma Kirsch, Washington, and a stepbrother, Wilbur Shelton, Washington.
