Delores A. Chestnut
ODON - Delores A. Chestnut, 79, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Daviess Community
Hospital.
Born April 21, 1929, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Homer
and Clara (Gammon) Trowbridge.
a retired certified nursing assistant, she retired from Ketcham Memorial
Nursing Center after 22 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Chestnut of Linton; sons, Thomas
Chestnut of Shoals, Tony Chestnut of Loogootee, and Randal Chestnut of
Washington; grandchildren, Evan amber, Bobby and Brandon Lee Chestnut;
brothers, Dean, Don and Jerry Trowbridge, all of Washington; sisters,
Phylis Robinson of Washington and Arlene Murray of Indianapolis.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Wayne, Frank
and Bob Trowbridge.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday a Poindexter-Hall and McClure
Funeral Home, with Bro. Richard Smith Officiating. Burial will be in
Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday
at the funeral home.
