WILLIAM MACK CHAMBERS
ST. BERNICE, Ind., Jan 9 (Special)
William Mack Chambers, 59 years old, of St. Bernice, died Saturday night
at the Verterans Administration Hospital in Indianapolis after an illness
of five years. We was employed by the Milwaukee Railroad until illness
forced his retirement, having moved to this community 16 years ago from
Illinois, Ind. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of American
Legion Post 108 of St. Bernice and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen
at Terre Haute. The wife Lillie; three daughters, Mrs. Jessie Hancock,
and Betty Pavlin, both of St. Bernice and Mis Mary Lou Chambers of Terre
Haute; one son, Robert of Carlisle; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Franklin of
Freedom and Mrs. Peral Schultz of Terre Haute and five grandchildren survive.
The body was brought to the Karanovich Funeral Home at Clinton.
