Viga CHADD, 77, died Wednesday morning at the home of his daughter,
Mrs. Lenorah SEWELL, 310 South West G Street.
He was a retired Baltimore and Ohio (B.& O.) Railroad employee. He had
resided with his daughter for the past six months, coming here from Washington,
Indiana. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Arletha CHADD, who also resides
with Mrs. SEWELL; another daughter, Mrs. Nellie PLATT of Los Angeles,
California; two sons, Everette CHADD, Richmond and Elmer CHADD, Seymour;
11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services for Mr. Chadd
will be held at the Gill Funeral Home in Washington Saturday at 2 p.m.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Washington.
Friends may call at the Gill Funeral Home after noon Friday. There will
be no local calling. Local arrangements were handled by the Stegall-Berheide-Orr
