Anna Elizabeth Chadd

Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Chadd, age 49, passed away last evening at 7:10
        o'clock of complications at her home in West Washington on R.F.D. 1.
        Mrs. Chadd had been seriously ill for the past four months.
        The wife of James M. Chadd, who survives her, she was born in this county
        on December 5, 1897, the daughter of Riley and Sarah J. (Martin) Richardson.
        Married on August 2, 1923, she is survived by three children: Calvin
        Chadd of the U.S. Army in Washington D.C., Mrs. Grace Carrico, city,
        Mrs. Louise Gray, R.R. 1 and Mrs. Mary Guy of Montgomery. She also leaves
        two sisters, Mrs. Esther Riffit of Montgomery and Mrs. Icephine Cole
        of Vincennes and a brother Geroge Richardson of Vincennes. Three grandchildren
        survive.
        Mrs. Chadd was a member of the Trinity Gospel Church in this city where
        funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. with burial in Bethany
        Cemetery. The Rev. Ryburn Ray will officiate. Friends may call at the
        residence to pay their respects.
