Lucinda Boyd

Lucinda Boyd died about noon today, she has been ill 3 years. She was
78, wife of Wm Harrison Boyd of Harrison Twp near Cumback, death was
due to complication of ailments. She had been in serious condition for
the past week.
The deceased was born on October 27, 1853, a daughter of Mr and Mrs George
Risley. All her brothers and sisters are deceased. [All from Pike County]
She is survived by these children in addition to her husband, Mrs. Marion
Gregory of Washington, Mrs. Homer Purcell of Cumback, Mrs. Lewis Fitzgerald
of Veale Twp, Otis Boyd at tome and Hillary of Veal Twp. Twelve grandchildren
also survive. Funeral arrangements are not complete. Elwood Williams
is in charge of the funeral.
Note: She is buried at Aikman creek Cemetery
