Widely Known Harrison Woman Taken by Death Mrs. Perry Baldwin Succumbs Following Illness of a Year Mrs. Indiana Ann Baldwin, 77, wife of Perry Baldwin and one o Harrison township's most respected citizens, died this morning at 2:30 o'clock at the Daviess County hospital. Mrs. Baldwin had been ill for the last year and in a serious condition for the last three weeks. While Mrs. Baldwin took an active interest in the affairs of her immediate community, always helping promote those things that are for the good, her one main interest was in her home and in her family on whom she showered the utmost love and devotion. She was honored in the circles in which she moved, and deserved and enjoyed the highest respect of a legion of acquaintances. A life long resident of Daviess county, Mrs. Baldwin was born February 18, 1861. Her parents were John and Saporn (Greffie) Gregory. She was educated in the county schools and was married to Mr. Baldwin September 25, 1880. Mrs. Baldwin was a member of the Ebenezer church. Living children are Howard Baldwin, Indianapolis, Elmer Baldwin, at home, Mrs. Cleve Potts, Reeve township, Mrs. John Burris, of this city, Mrs. Walter Osmon, Veale township, Brooks Baldwin, at home, Mrs. Myrtle Morgan and Mrs. Raymond Mattingly of this city. Three children are dead. She also leaves 21 grand children and 21 seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Baldwin was the last member of her family, all brothers and sisters having preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Ebenezer church with the Rev. J. W. McMurry officiating and burial in the adjoining cemetery. The body will be taken from the Gill funeral chapel to the home of Mrs. Raymond Mattingly, at 105 Northeast Second Street Friday morning at 10 o'clock
