I seen references to there being a cemetery in Owen Township known as "Pleasant View Cemetery". However, according to the Owen Township Trustee in July 1997, "there is no cemetery there".  I took him to mean by this that there is no cemetery at the church proper.

I talked on July 11, 1998 with the pastor of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Rev. Ray Bowyer, and he is not aware of any cemetery directly associated with the Church.  Perhaps one of the cemeteries in the area is or was used by many members of the Church and some people referred to it by the church's name.

I do not know if this is a case of mistake in the reported location or if the cemetery itself simply no longer exists.

I have no further information at this time.
