This cemetery is located at Daisy Hill church near Borden in Wood Township. N1/2, SW1/4, Sec 26, R5E, T1S. Wood Township Trustee Shirley Nolot reported on 6/8/97 that the site is maintained by the church.
I presently do not have an index for Daisy Hill Cemetery.
There is also a separate African-American Cemetery on Daisy Hill Road, about 250 yards southwest of Daisy Hill Church Cemetery, as reported in the Summer of 1997 by Lynn Cooley.
Jerry Callam and _____________ have tentatively located several stones removed from this old African-American burial site. They found one stone that bore the following information:No further information is presently available.There are believed to be more stones, but they have not been located and the search continues. This cemetery is on private property, but the owner, who recently bought it doesn't object to the search being conducted.Martin JAMES

Age: 40 Years, 9 monthsA local resident remembers seeing these stones when she was a young woman and thinks there were only 3-4 stones then.
