The Republic Columbus, Indiana August 31, 1903 Saturday Page 8 Found Dead In Bed. Abram Waughtel, aged fifty-five years, single, was found dead in bed this morning at the home of his father near Scipio. The coroner rendered a verdict to the effect that death came as a result of apoplexy. He was the son of James Waughtel, aged ninety-three years, considered one of the oldest men in southern Indiana. The deceased had been complaining for some time. Funeral services Monday at 10 o'clock.
