The Republic Colombus, Indiana Friday, September 16, 1881 Page 2 OBITUARY Margaret L. Ueberroth was born in East Tennessee, December 30th, 1841. She was baptized into the Presbyterian church in infancy by Rev. Isaac Anderson, and with her parents came to Indiana in the spring of 1846. In 1856 or '58 she joined the M.E. Church at Newbern, then under the care of the Rev. Kennedy, adn was thoroughly converted to the Christian faith in Christ, and adorned her profession by a Godly wald through life. She was married to W.H. Ueberroth, September 12th, 1859, and leaves two daughters, Minnie and Eva, to mourn the loss of what can never be replaced-a good christian mother. Her husband and aged parents also survive her, and with a large circle of devoted friends, mourn her untimely departure, and only he who tempers the wind to the shorn lamb can comfort their breaking hearts. "The Christian can not die before is time; The Lord's appointment in his servant's hour."
