The Republic Columbus, Indiana March 19, 1906 Friday Page 4 Death of Mrs. Stuckey. Mrs. Lawrence Stuckey died at her home in Orinoco this afternoon at an advanced age. She had been ill for several months. Mrs. Stuckey was a daughter of the late Washington May and was born and reared in this county. She and her husband conducted a restaurant for a number of years, after which they removed to a farm east of the city and remained there until Mrs. Stuckey was chosen matron of the Bartholomew county orphan's home where she remained in charge for some time. Later Mr. and Mrs. Stuckey operated the Stucky boarding house, at Sixth and Washington streets. Mrs. Stuckey's poor health caused them to dispose of this business and since that time they have lived in Orinoco.
