The Republic Columbus, Indiana Friday, December 23, 1904 Page 8 Death of John Q. A. Ringer. John Q. A. Ringer died at his home on Franklin street Thursday afternoon at the age of seventy-six years. Death was caused by a paralytic stroke received last week. Mr. Ringer had been in a semi-conscious condition ever since he sustained the stroke. He was born in Marion county and was a residenct of Indianapolis until about five years ago, when he moved here with his family and the daughters, Misses Caroline and Olivia, now have a photograph gallery on Washington street. Mr. Ringer was a member of the Baptist church and an honest upright man. He had a large number of friends here and in Indianapolis. Short funeral services will be conducted from the residence Monday morning at 7:30 o'clock, by Rev. W. G. Everson. The remains will be shipped to Indianapolis on the 10:20 train and interred in Crown Hill cemetery.
