The Republic Columbus, Indiana Monday, November 7, 1904 Page 1 Injuries Proved Fatal. John Nickerson, who was injured Thursday morning in the collision between the Third and Sixtenth street street car and the Cambridge City passenger train, on north Chestnut street, died in Dr. A. J. Banker's hospital Sunday morning at 3 o'clock as a result of the injuries received. The funeral was held from the late residence on north Franklin street this afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. G. D. Wolfe. Burial in City cemetery.
