Dale Muir Funeral Monday (Died Thursday)

Funeral services for Dale Muir, 74, of Elizabethtown, former Bartholomew 
County assessor, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Reed and Jewell 
Funeral Home by the Rev. Dallas Collier.

Visiting hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. Monday 
until time of service. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Masonic 
services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Muir died Thursday at Bartholomew County Hospital on Thursday, 18 June 1987.

He was also a former partner in Athens Realty Co. He was a member of 
Elizabethtown United Methodist Church.

Born 25 November 1912, Muir was the son of Dora Otto and Myrtle Katherine 
Christy Muir. He married Vera Everroad 9 October 1948 and she died in 1985.

He is survived by a half brother, Leon Muir of Anderson; a step-brother, 
George Bayley of Anderson; three nephews and three nieces.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
