James Eason, aged fifty-eight years, of Norristown, died this afternoon just before three o'clock at the Sanitarium, where he had been for the last week taking treatment for dropsy. The death was a very sudden one, and is a severe shock to his wife, who was at his bedside. He is said to have been a very wealthy man of Norristown. Funeral services over the reains of the late James Eason, who died at Morris' Sanitarium, will be conducted at the late home in Norristown Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Scull. Farmer's Lodge, No. 147, F. and A. M., will have charge. Mr. Eason had been a resident of Norristown for several years and had been in the general merchandise business at that place for forty years until last summer, when he sold his place of business on accounty of ill health. He was aged about fifty-eight years and leaves a wife and two children.
