Death of Alonzo B. Clapp.

Alonzo B. Clapp died at the Deaconess hospital in Indianapolis Wednesday afternoon after an operation for plueritic pneumonia. His wife and children live at Hartsville, this county and they were sent for. It was their intention to leave this morning for Indianapolis, but the word came that he was dead and they left instead for the funeral.

Mr. Clapp was the son of Thomas C. Clapp and was born in Hartsville, where he spent his youth and young manhood. He was well known by a number of people in this city.
