Oscar Carter, son of William Carter, aged 24, died at Indianapolis, Saturday night, Jan. 9, of pneumonia. Burial Tuesday at the Shirk cemetery. Funeral was conducted by Rev. E. I. LaRue. The singers of the M.E. church sang at church at Wayneville, where the funeral was preached.
