The Columbus Republican Columbus, Indiana Thursday, October 29, 1896 Page 6 Obituary NASHVILLE, IND., Oct. 21, 1896. Mrs. Desdamona Adams, widow of David B. Adams, died at her home in Georgetown, Oct. 20, at the age of 80 years, 8 months and 28 days. One the 4th inst., while playing with one of her little granddaughters fell on the floor and dislocated her hip from which injury and other complications, she died. Mrs. Adams in her early youth in the state of Tennessee became a member of the Presbyterian church and has ever since lived an exemplary Christian life. For the last 47 years she has resided in Brown county. She was well and favorably known in this and adjoining counties She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Her husband preceded her in the journey of life but a few years. She leaves John P., Andrew W. and Mary S., sons and daughter, and a wide circle of friends to mourn her loss.
