Missouri Holland Graham

Born February 26, 1861 at Old St. Louis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Uriah Holland, died Tuesday in Indianapolis, age 69. A former Hope resident, about 25 years ago she moved to Gas City and 2 years later to Indianapolis. She was a sister-in-law of the late Joe Graham of Hope. She married Thomas Graham July 25, 1880 and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last July. Surviving are her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs. George Carter of Tarenton, Massachusetts, Mrs. Arthur Murray of Gary; 2 sons James and William Graham of Indianapolis; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 5 sisters Mrs. Jack Kimsey of Terre Haute, Mrs. Joseph Gillespie of Columbus, Mrs. Walter Kremer and Mrs. Will Hiatt of Indianapolis, Mrs. James Johnston of San Angelo, Texas; 1 brother, Elmer Holland of Newbern. Funeral service was Friday at the home with burial in Memorial Park in Irvington.
