Calhoun - Charles Calhoun, 48 years old is dead of
cancer of the throat at his home in East columbus, and his wife, who is
critically ill, is near death. Besides his widow, Mr. Calhoun is survived
by four sons.

Campbell - SHELBYVILLE - Centenarian Dies - James Christopher
Campbell, 101, one of this citys oldest residents, died Tuesday. Campbell
was born in Bartholomew County. He celebrated his 101st birthday
anniversary Sept 15.

Miller - Margaret Nickerson Miller, 80 years old, wife
of Frederic Miller, is dead at her home at Columbus. She had been a member
of the Methodist Church for seventy years. She and her husband had been
married for fifty-one years.

Moore - Find Historic Grave. -- In Sharon cemetery, Bartholomew county, Indiana, is a historic grave known to comparatively few persons. Her lie the remains of Jonathan Moore, who had the privilege and the honor to serve on the staff of General George Washington's body guard for a period of five years. Prather - John Prather, 89, a Spanish-American War
veteran, died at Veterans' Hospital in Marion Monday. He had lived in
Columbus since 1910 and was one of two Spanish American War veterans living in
Bartholomew County. The surviving veteran is Lynn Fuel, 92, who lives at
the Bartholomew County Home.

Rights - Regina Rights, 76 years old, wife of
Lawrence Rights of Hope, and mother of Charles Rights of Indianapolis, died
suddenly of paralysis in Hope Tuesday. She was a native of Bartholomew
County and was confirmed in the Hope Moravian Church in infancy.

Sparks - Mrs. Lucinda Sparks, 72 years old, a native of
Bartholomew county and widow of the late James Sparks is dead at her home here,
cancer of the stomach having caused her death. She was a leading church
worker in this city and was the mother of twelve children, ten of whom survive.

Stewert -- John L. Stewart, 37, Indianapolis, died in
Bartholomew county jail Saturday, where he was being held on a drunken driving
charge after a collision Friday. Coroner Josph Dudding said death
apparently was due to an injury received in the crash. Stewart had refused
hospitalization at Seymour, where he was treated after the wreck.
