Ralph Lawson Dies Suddenly Friday


Ralph Lawson, 76, of 203 South 11th Street, a retired railroader, was dead on arrival at 10:45 am Friday at the Adams County Memorial Hospital. He was stricken at the home of his sister, Mrs. Beatrice Homan, with whom he resided.

He was born in Van Wert County, O., June 22, 1892, a son of Harve and Mary Jane Harmon-Lawson and was a lifelong resident of this area.

A veteran of World War I, he was retired from the Nickel Plate Railroad.

Surviving in addition to his sister are several nieces and nephews. Three brothers are deceased.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Monday the Winteregg-Linn Funeral Home, with Rev. William C. Feller officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 pm Sunday until time of the services.
